Stanton Fire Department Training
In 2007, Stanton firefighters logged more than 2,400 hours of documented training as a department, which equates to nearly 129 hours per firefighter.  This is over and above Association meetings and fire calls firefighters responded to in 2007.
Already in 2008, fire personnel have acquired more than 400 hours of training time in areas such as Officer training, wildland fire fighting training, medical first responder training and hazardous materials training with several hundred more hours of learning ahead.
Nearly all of our firefighters are certified with the State of Michigan as licensed pre-hospital emergency care providers ranging from Medical First Responders to Paramedics.
