Q: What do I do with the neighbors barking dog?

A: Sidney Township has a noise ordinance, call the police department at (989) 831-5253. They will go to the residence & if the dog is continueing to bark, they will site either a warning or a ticket.

Q: How do I reserve the Sidney Park?

A: Reservations are on a first come, first serve basis. But if you call Terry & tell him your plans, he will be able to tell others should they call to see if the park is busy. The best advice is get there early. We have 2 pavillians for use so usually it's not a problem.

General and primary elections are still at the township hall for all Sidney residents.

For school elections: voting districts have changed. If you live north of Sidney Rd you will vote at Stanton Elementary. If you live south of Sidney Rd you will vote at Sheridan Elementary.
Wes also handles the Cemetery Lots for Sidney Cemetery.

Floretta handles land divisions and fields all questions on assessing property.

Items needed before a permit can be issued: Copy of Deed to property-Health Dept permit(site evaluation), Site plan. Fees are as follows: $10 for Zoning permit, ZBA hearing $200, hearing for re-zoning $300, Special planning commission meeting $200, Special use permit $200.
