Montcalm County is working to provide all residents with an alternate direction for recyclable materials that might otherwise be disposed of in a landfill. The items accepted at the mobile recycle centers will be processed and delivered to manufacturing plants to make new products saving landfill space and preserving our environment.
How it works:
Consider whether the item you are throwing into the trash can be recycled. On the scheduled day (see calendar to the right), bring your cleaned materials to the recycle center in your area. Two people will be there to accept and sort the items in the recycle center.
**It is important that all materials are empty and rinsed clean. Items that are not properly rinsed will be returned for further cleaning. Montcalm County Full Service Mobile Recycle Centers (Brochure) What can be Recycled?
