Trail Use Guidelines

• Call 911 for emergencies
• Please wear helmets for your safety!
• No unauthorized motor vehicles are allowed on the trail, including motorcycles
• Battery powered Amigos and wheelchairs permitted w/handicapped user
• Bicycles shall ride on the right side of the pathway and obey Michigan's vehicle code. The speed limit is 15 mph.  Signal when passing and give space to oncoming Trail users  Respect wildlife
• Respect workers on the Trail - walk your bike through work areas
• Horses are not allowed on the trail
• Keep pets on a 6 ft. leash -- clean up their waste
• Campfires, cooking and camping are not allowed
• Plant and animal life along the pathway are for everyone to enjoy. Do not remove, pick or harm them.
• No hunting or discharge of firearms allowed
• Littering spoils the pathway for everyone. Do not throw your trash along the trail. Please pick up litter you see and dispose of it properly.
• Respect private property. Stay on the trail and don't trespass on adjacent landowner's private property
• Obey signs along the trail
• Alcohol or illegal drug use is prohibited
• Trail hours are sunrise to sunset unless otherwise posted
