FUN EVENTS!!!

       June 19, 2010

       A Celtic music concert will be held at the Vestaburg Depot, beginning at 2:00 p.m.  The group "Toss the Feather" will present their third annual concert at the Depot, featuring vocals, bass, dulcimer, guitar and Irish whistle.  This group has been very well received in its two previous concerts and all are invited to tour the Depot and enjoy their music.  Don't forget to bring a chair!!

                      And right after the concert, June 19, you can go to Riverdale

                                                      for

       The Tour de Seville Fundraiser!  A bicycling event for all the family, to be held on the Fred Meijer Heartland Trail.  Registration begins at 3:00 p.m. at the ACT Museum (the historic schoolhouse).  Biking begins at 3:30 p.m. and riders can ride from Riverdale to Elwell and back.

        Cost:  Children 5 yrs. or younger -- FREE

                 Children 6-16 --                 $2.00

                 Adults 17 & up                   $5.00

The Trail will be closed twice this season for the following events:

          June 1-4, 2010  Shook Asphalt will be resealing the Trail from Derby

                                Rd. to Miller Rd. this week, depending on the

                                weather.  The Trail will be closed to all traffic on the

                                day that they reseal.  Alternate route:  South on

                                Derby to Muskrat Rd., west on Muskrat to Ferris Rd.

                                and north on Ferris Rd. to the Trail.  Our apologies

                                for the inconvenience!

          July 9-10-11, 2010  Mid Michigan Motorplex Nationals.  The 

                                Motorplex rents the trail for this weekend

                                from the FFMHT.  Trail is closed from Cannonsville

                                Rd. to Briggs Rd.  Alternate Route:  Briggs Rd.

                                to Epley Rd., to Cannonsville Rd.
