Physical Location 592 S. Greenville Road. (Montcalm Township) Located on M-91 north of Greenville, between Turk Lake and Langston, on the Flat River, and just south of County Road 522
Hours: Open Sunrise to Sunset, May 1st thru October 31st
McCarthy Park covers 26 acres and features an abundance of shade trees and woodland nature trails bordering the picturesque Flat River on the West. Recreation facilities and amenities include 3 covered pavilions (one is 56' x 64' and two are 28' x 32'), picnic tables and grills, playground equipment, hiking trail, fishing, restrooms, and swimming - at your own risk.
RESERVATIONS: (Calendars located at bottom of page) Reservations can be made beginning February 1 of each year by calling (989) 831-7300, 8:00 a.m. to Noon and 1:00 to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Pavilions and/or groups of tables in outdoor areas may be reserved for special occasions (Fee is required). Download the Reservation Form - Adobe Acrobat required. NOTE: - BEFORE processing a reservation form, contact the number below and secure your date.
The park is open to the public and when pavilions are not reserved, they are available for use by the general public on a first-come, first-serve basis.
