McCarthy Park covers 26 acres and features an abundance of shade trees and woodland nature trails bordering the picturesque Flat River on the West. Recreation facilities and amenities include 3 covered pavilions (one is 56' x 64' and two are 28' x 32')seating from 200 - 400 people, picnic tables and grills, playground equipment, hiking trail, fishing, restrooms, parking, and swimming - at your own risk.
RESERVATIONS: Reservations can be made beginning February 1 of each year by calling (989) 831-7300, 8:00 a.m. to Noon and 1:00 to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The Pavilions rent for $100 per day (large, center one) or $50 for each of the smaller pavilions. Groups of tables outside the pavilions may be reserved for $40 for 8 tables.

The park is open to the public and when pavilions are not reserved, they are available for use by the general public on a first-come, first-serve basis.
