Capt Shane Grinnell, and Capt Stan Kwitkowski went to the Michigan State Police (Fire Division)Fire Safety School. Most programs firefighters will come into the school around fire safety week and teach the children fire safety in a a hour or less session. This program that Capt Grinnell and Kwitkowski teaches is like the D.A.R.E. Program. They go into the school one time a month and go to each classroom for about 20 mins, and teach the kids about a different fire safety topic every month.
