Burning Permits

You need to call either the Howard City or Sand Lake Fire Departments at 231-937-4311 or 616-636-5332.

If you live north of Cannonsville you are in the Howard City coverage.

Cemetery

Connie Boon is the cemetery administrator. You can contact her for the sites that are available. The rate for residents are $50.00 for a single site and nonresidents rate is $500.00 for a single site. Maps of the lots are also available at the Township Hall. The treasurer keeps those maps up to date.

Pierson Township land owners are intitled to reduced rates for pick-up or even FREE if you bring your trash to the landfill. Contact the township office to get a brochure explaining all of your different options. 616-636-8570
