Michigan Groundwater Stewardship Program
Grant funded through the Michigan Department of Agriculture to local, state, tribal, non-profit organizations and Federal units of government to support individual pesticide and/or nitrogen fertilizers users interested in reducing their risk of groundwater contamination.

Information and assessment tools for pesticide and nitrogen fertilizer users, which helps to identify risks to groundwater associated with pesticide and nitrogen fertilizer use. The information includes farmstead and homestead assessment programs, technical assistance and cost-share for pollution prevention practices and equipment, such as abandoned well closure and educational workshops.
