The Montcalm County Medical Control Authority is responsible for developoing protocols and procedures for treating and transporting patients in the pre-hospital setting. The Authority, consisting of health care representatives from across the county, meets quarterly to review how well the ambulance and rescue system is working in Montcalm County, and to establish or approve new methods for providing the best pre-hospital care possible.
