All initial training (for Medical First Responder, EMT, EMT-Specialist, and Paramedic) is provided through Montcalm Community College and taught by Paramedics employed by MCES. To learn more about the college's EMS class offerings, call 989/328-2111 or consult the schedule in the college's regular mailer sent prior to each semester.
MCES's Paramedic teaching staff includes several Instructor Coordinators who provide continuing education and skills development programs to MCES employees. Occasionally full days of EMS education are sponsored, to which other EMS professionals not from Montcalm County are invited. A nominal fee is charged for out-of-county participants. To learn more about classes that MCES provides, call the business office M-F from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
