Ambu-Cab provides low-cost transportation to wheelchair-bound patients and to dialysis patients who are clients of the Montcalm County Commission on Aging. Apppointments should be for medical reasons, however some exceptions may be made. The Ambu-Cab is authorized to travel up to 50 miles outside of Montcalm County and under most circumstances will provide round-trip transports.
RATES: RATE INCREASE EFFECTIVE AUGUST 1, 2007
1-15 miles:$40.00
16-25 miles:$50.00
26-50 miles:$60.00
Ambu-Cab does not charge for return trips, however if the cab must wait longer than an hour, wait time is charged at $2.50 for every fifteen minutes over that hour.
