The applications are available in the County Clerk's office. After you have completed your application you need to have the Probate Court Judge endorse your application and then send it to the State of Michigan with $3.00. The state will then send your commission to our office an we will forward information to you letting you know your commission date and expiration date. Next you will need to complete the required bond and return it to our office with the $1.00 filing fee after which you will receive your commission document. Notary Commissions are valid for a period of 4 years.
