This page provides information about and/or access to three (3) current useful Montcalm County community directories: the EIGHTCAP, INC. COMMUNITY RESOURCE DIRECTORY , the POCKET GUIDE, and the Montcalm Area Intermediate School District Directory. As a fourth resource, we provided a link to the Kent County Family Resource Guide which may be helpful to people looking for resources in the Kent County area. 1. EIGHTCAP, INC. COMMUNITY RESOURCE DIRECTORY The EightCAP, Inc. Community Resource Directory for Montcalm County is available in English and Spanish. This directory provides detailed service information for area resources. Names and phone numbers of local agencies that provide medical care, dental care, emergency assistance (such as food, clothing, shelter, utility payment assistance, etc.), and other services are included. At the time of this printing all information in the directory was accurate, but it can change at anytime. You can use the Quick Find Index pages as a easy reference for phone numbers. You can also use the the Community Resource pages referenced by page numbers in the index for further agency information. Resource directories for Gratiot, Ionia, Isabella, and Montcalm counties are at this link: EightCAP Resource Directories The directories are available in English and Spanish for all four counties. 2. 2008/2009 POCKET GUIDE On June 4, 2008 we added the newly printed 2008/2009 Montcalm County Pocket Guide as another directory publication in this section. It is available as an Adobe PDF document at the link below. The Pocket Guide is a mini- resource directory listing area organization phone numbers by category. The Pocket Guide is most widely recognized printed on yellow cardstock and folding into a wallet size piece. Use the rotate clockwise button on the Adobe toolbar to rotate the document if you want to view it only and then use the zoom buttons to size the document to make reading it easier. 3. MONTCALM AREA INTERMEDIATE SCHOOL DISTRICT 2008-2009 DIRECTORY This publication was released in 2009 and there are still copies available. It provides information on school board members, school staff and administrators, and school contact information (including phone, fax, and website) for all school public school districts in the MAISD service area, parochial schools, and Montcalm Community College. It also has a page of zip codes. To request a hard copy(ies) of this edition, contact the MAISD offices at (989) 831-5261. A new edition will not be printed for 2009-2010. 4. KENT COUNTY FAMILY RESOURCE GUIDE- 2008-2009 Edition This 128 page directory is a guide to services for children and families in Kent County. It is available online at www.childresource.cc/frg-pub.php in both English and Spanish versions.
