Watch for Your Census Form this Month and Be a Part of History!

Thursday, February 18, 2010

March 2010 is an important month for our country and community.  The 2010 Census form will be delivered or mailed to households across the United States in March, and you can make history by filling out and returning your census form as soon as it arrives.  Please watch for your census form and respond immediately by mailing it back.  Census workers will visit households that do not return the forms to take a count in person.  They can be identified by a census badge and bag.

Every person living in the United States must be counted in the 2010 Census - including people of all ages, races, ethnic groups, citizens and noncitizens.  Your participation is vital and helps to provide a new portrait of America - illustrating our nation's growth and changing population and demographics.

For more information about the 2010 Census you are encouraged to visit the U.S. Census Bureau's website.  To find out what is being done locally, you are encouraged to visit the Montcalm Human Services Coalition's website.  Click here to view a recent Daily News article featuring the Montcalm Human Services Coalition's efforts.
