Reservation requests for Montcalm County’s day parks will begin to be taken on Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at 8:00 a.m.  Reservation requests for Artman Park, Krampe Park and McCarthy Park can be made by calling 989-831-3599.

Montcalm County will also start taking reservation requests for stays at Ford Lincoln Park for anything less than one week beginning on Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at 8:00 a.m.  Interested parties are asked to call 989-831-3599.

The Montcalm County Solid Waste Management Committee (SWMC), in conjunction with the Howard City Downtown Development Authority, is very pleased to announce the opening of a new, unmanned, recycle drop off facility in Howard City.  The facility is located in the northeast corner of the Leppinks parking lot, located at 730 West Shaw Street.  The site will be open for 24 hours a day for convenient access to area residents to drop off recyclable goods.

The types of recyclables that will be accepted at this site include: clean plastic #1-7, metal cans, glass bottles and paper products.  Products do not need to be separated to use this site.
