School Elections

All Montcalm County School Elections will be held Tuesday May 6, 2008. If you need help determining where you vote for school elections please call the Montcalm County Clerk's office at 989-831-7339. Election results will be posted as they are reported to the Montcalm County Clerk's office on election night and should begin to be available after 9:00 p.m. When all precincts have reported and unofficial results are final on election night, a notice will be posted on the website stating such. Please follow this link for school election results.

The Community Resource Directory from EightCAP, Inc. will help you to find valuable information for resources in our community. Names and phone numbers of local agencies that provide medical care, dental care, emergency assistance (such as food, clothing, shelter, utility payment assistance, etc.), and other services are included. The Community Resource Directory can be found here. Also on this page are links to directories from Gratiot, Ionia and Isabella counties. Spanish language editions are available also for Ionia, Isabella and Montcalm counties.

Public Search Room Open

The Public Search Room is now available on the first floor of the County Administration Building. Anyone looking for information from the Register of Deeds, Treasurer, and Equalization offices that is available on line can use the computers in the room for document searches. Users of the computers who have questions can ask a clerk at the Register of Deeds office.

County Photo Maps Available

Aerial photography of Montcalm County is available on the County Information System website. It can be viewed by the public at a level that will allow you to see several miles on one photo or you can subscribe if you desire to view photos at a close range. Subscriptions for unlimited viewing can be purchased for a day or for a year. Clicking the “Maps” button on the upper right side of the web site opening page will take you to the opening page of maps where you will find instructions on how to subscribe. You can send a check or use the secure Pay Pal system on the site. Hard copy prints of photographs are available from the GIS Mapping Division of the Land Information Office located in the Equalization Office at 211 W. Main Street, P.O. Box 368, Stanton, MI 48888.
