The Crystal Township Fire Department holds a roster of twenty-five (25) paid on call firefighters that respond to the fire station when our services are needed.  Although we provide service to the community twenty-four (24) hours a day three hundred and sixty five (365) days a year, our station is not manned like a larger metropolitan fire department may be.  Firefighters have full-time jobs and have to leave their employment and families to respond to an incident.
