Sheriff's Office Employment Opportunities: There are currently no open positions at the Sheriff's Office, but we always accept applications for the positions of Deputy Sheriff and Corrections Officer. To be eligible, you must first successfully complete testing by EMPCO Incorporated. Corrections Officers must also meet requirements set forth by the Michigan Sheriffs' Coordinating and Training Council. Deputy Sheriff's must be MCOLES certifiable. Candidates must also complete the County of Montcalm employment application listed below and forward a copy to the Office of the County Controller at the address listed above.
