Updated 03/10/10 As of October 1, 2009 Kent Regional Community Coordinated Child Care (4C) is no longer providing Information and Referral services for child care and preschool services to Montcalm County residents, training for child care providers, and there is no longer a local contact person with an office here in the County. Through a process coordinated by the Early Childhood Investment Corporation (ECIC), Pathways,MI out of Holland was selected to promote Information and Referral services and coordinate provider professional development to the Western region of Michigan including Montcalm County. So, to get information and assistance finding Montcalm County child care providers and preschools, feel free to use one or all of these three options: - Use the on-line database on the ECIC's website at www.ecic4kids.org/greatStartConnect.cfm called "Great Start Connect" (click on Early Learnng icon). As part of the Great Start Child Care Quality Project, the ECIC has launched Great Start Connect to help link parents and those caring for young children with the resources, supports and services needed to give Michigan children a Great Start. Click here for a PDF with more information. Or
- Call Pathways,MI toll-free at their Holland office 1-800-396-0241; or
